I had forgot to post this awhile ago. We built a pub in Transylvania and activated voice on the parcel. The One Blood Voice Pub was born for all you darklings, goths, vamps, or just people who like to chill out and yack. The tables, chairs, bottles, kegs and things are all from Rustica. Their pub set is pretty awesome, with texture change so you can customize it to your personal preference.
Various other accessories are from around the grid so feel free to right click away. One Blood bottles and six packs were made by Lamia Essex, the coffee machine is from Caro's. So feel free to grab a bottle of One Blood, talk, yell, or listen to music.

Home Expo 3
The exhibit by Luna Bliss evokes a fairytale atmosphere and a sense of whimsy. There were butterfly emitters, a lovely pond, and lots of lush greenery and trees.
One of my favorites, New Trails. You really need to go check this one out.
These are a couple items I brought home for my dock. The chairs are by Sways, the lazy boat is from the Boathouse. It has some cute poses in it and rezzes props.

Home Expo 2
These modern homes by Maven with furniture by Kaerri were striking and sophisticated.
Ionic has some cute and funky small homes. The textures are fun and colorful. Lots of nice details.
I loved the Scarlet Creative mesh homes. Lots of open spaces and windows. Very nice to look at with the textures having a warm feeling to them.
This Maven house is HUGE with warm rustic texturing and lots of windows, arches, and space to move around.
The Rebourne home was very interesting. Nice shadowing on the textures and an interesting layout. These are just some of the houses that caught my eye, there are lots more to see. Take a few days and wander around, happy shopping!

Home Expo 1...
Home Expo is here! It's my SL Christmas! There are so many new designers I hadn't come across and that's only the first day. Seeing the new manor by Kismet, I had a holy shit moment in real life. It's breathe taking. There is also a gatehouse which is the RFL item being sold.
My second holy shit moment was discovering the display by Alchemy Immortalis. If you climb to the top, make a donation and release paper lanterns into the sky. It's for a good cause and it's fun!
Here is another view of the build. The RFL items are a gorgeous version of their new chair and a Chinese peace lantern rezzer.
If you are a rockin a beach theme the builds by Barnesworth Anubis would be perfect. The textures are lush with breezy open layouts.
The little cottage by Cleo Designs is adorable. It's the RLF item and very very very reasonably priced. There are lots of cute items for sale inside to help you decorate it.
The RLF item from Shoreman design is perfect for an Asian theme or if you just want a tranquil place on the water. It's only 250, so well worth it and it's for a good cause. More houses later!
Tp'ing here should get you started.

My happy place....
When you have so many things going on in your head it can be soothing to have something to focus on. It's fun to build happy places in SL, where I can sit for awhile and daydream. Trompe Loiel released this Daydream Flying Dome which comes as a skybox surrounded by a sphere textured with a beautiful sky. (Did you see what I did there?). I rezzed it on my water and deleted the dome cause that's how I roll.
In the middle is a hole surrounded by benches and greenery. It's gorgeous. I chose to rez the Natural Stone Hot Tub, also by Trompe Loeil, in the middle. Then I jumped in fully clothed and let my mind wander. Turns out I needed the rest, the Home Expo opened for bloggers today......

WANT 5-4-2012
Loosing all my stuff has given me the golden opportunity of shopping for more and participating in some hunts! Here are some yummy things I've found:
Rustica released a gorgeous new mesh furniture set. There is also a skydome and a new mesh house. The texturing is detailed and exquisite. I love every little thing about it. Also includes mesh picture frames to do with as you please. The books are from Kusshon.
This is the bed, lamp, side table, and rug included in the furniture pack. I don't know if it is still at fantasy faire, but if it is, you pay a special discounted price.
Loveseat and sidetable. There is also sofas, cuddle chaise, all sorts of stuff. It really is a great deal. Flower arrangement by Arctic Greenhouse, art at Tart Gallery.
This is the hunt prize from Alchemy Immortalis for the Prim Perfect it's Fun to be Five Hunt. It's adorable, a mouse peeks out from the sugar pot. You get the entire tea set with plated cakes. You are looking for a cupcake with a huge 5 on top. The hunt runs til May 31st and has some great prizes from Creators.
Finally this fun bottle collection that is copiable and pretty dang cheap. Great for the little touches a house may need.

Designer Prims Urban Conviction
Elle Crescendo of Designer Prims read my post about accidently deleting all my stuff and took pity on me. She very kindly dropped a box on me of a variety of her homes and some accessories. It was a fantastic surprise and I am very very grateful. I lost quite a few of her things in the big fiasco. This is the Urban Conviction, an open airy home that is great for bringing the outside in. I tried to do a "less is more" approach to keep it serene and peaceful.
The deck and pool has a flower bed of ferns and vines that come with the house. Also, as with all Designer Prim homes, the brick, wood, accent walls are all texture change. I thought it would be a great place for the Curve and Loop patio furniture from Trompe Loeil. The platter of drinks is from Headhunter's.
