The Compound

I've had a few friends move in with me so it was time for a change in the housing arrangements.  I had my eye on the Poetica Christmas Cottage for awhile and figured it was just what I needed.  It comes with a main house and a small cottage perfect for a bedroom.  I did some modding: removed walls upstairs to make one big room, adjusted textures to get rid of snow, and removed snow from the roof.  Also retextured the roof and upper room.  The small cabins are copy/mod also so I built a large dock out back using a texture from Distressed and rezzed 3 of them along either side.  I made all doors phantom because I was sick of opening and closing them, but that's a personal eccentricity.   I've affectionately named it "The Compound", but don't worry we have no kool aid.

Here's my sign......

So a couple years ago I blogged about how LL lost my folder with all my prefabs and furniture in it, well while cleaning my inventory last night I mistakenly deleted the folder with all my houses and furniture in it....yes I know.  I'm really more upset about the houses, art, and general cool things friends were nice enough to gift me over the years.

To those of you with redelivery terminals....I love you.  Pandora Popstar of LISP, who has been nice enough to take a list from me of things I've bought from her and box them up and send to me by hand, I LOVE YOU MORE.  I'll try to get a proper blogpost up soon.  I had already done a new home, so stay tuned...
